Attractive Trip: Yogyakarta City & Borobudur Temple

Start the day with Yogyakarta for city tour. The first visit will be the Sultan’s Palace, also known as ‘Keraton’, located in the center of the city it was founded in 1755. Keep an eye out for the ornate reception hall as well as the large open-air pendopos. Then conti to Tamansari or more commonly known as the Water Castle, situated just 25um from Sultans Palace, it was built in 1758 by the prince, with the sole purpose of being used as a palace for pleasure by the Sultan and his harem. Next stop on today’s tour is at Kote Gede, where you can visit Batik Factories, Silversmiths and other handicraft shops.
After lunch at local restaurant (at your own account), head to the stunning Borobudur Temple, the largest single Buddhist monument in the Southern Hemisphere. Here you can climb the steps, along the way see the 1640 relief panels and 504 Buddha effigies within complex. Return transfer to the hotel.
